The "Local Affairs" column of the Champaign County Gazette, announcing the upcoming lecture by Mark Twain, at Barrett Hall (renamed the Champaign Opera House in 1882), Champaign, Il.  

Barrett Hall hosted orator and leader of the abolitionist movement, Frederick Douglass, in 1869.
