Former mayor of Champaign, local historian and author, Dan McCollum's book, The Lord is not on Trial, about his mother, Vashti McCollum, and the landmark case to uphold separation of church and state,has been made into a documentary that is slated for release in October and will be broadcast nationwide on PBS in 2011.
